Our mission is to inspire and educate people to take action every day to end littering, improve recycling, and beautify our community.
Keep Calhoun Gordon Beautiful (KCGB) is proud to partner with local organizations and agencies to enhance public spaces throughout our community through thoughtful planting, education, and long-term stewardship.
Urban Forestry & Tree Stewardship
KCGB has provided tree maintenance training to City and County Streets and Parks staff for several years, supporting healthy urban forests and long-term sustainability.
We extend special thanks to the Georgia Forestry Commission, particularly the Urban and Community Forestry Division, for their expertise in tree selection and guidance on planting locations.

Calhoun Recreation Department
KCGB partnered with the City of Calhoun to secure a grant to plant 34 trees along the recreation department’s walking trails.

Chamber of Commerce
KCGB installed a border garden behind the Chamber building. The garden includes a mix of perennials, bulbs, and seasonal annuals.

Library & Butterfly Garden
KCGB assisted with guidance for a Soil and Water Conservation Commission grant, which funded raised beds at the building entrance.

Sonoraville Recreation Department
KCGB provided 27 trees for planting within the Sonoraville Recreation Department to help with beautifying the landscape.

City Park
At the request of City Council, KCGB has maintained the large planter inside City Park since October 2022 — providing year-round visual interest for visitors.
