SPRING RECYCLING EVENT
May 4, 2024
10 a.m. — 2 p.m.

Let’s recycle those hard-to-recycle items you have laying around your house! We will be collecting batteries, electronics, plastics, tires, and certain hazardous materials and waste products (herbicides, pesticides, fluorescent tubes, etc.). We’ll also have onsite paper shredding. We also collect food, eyeglasses, and Blood Assurance will be onsite for blood donations.

Making Calhoun and all of Gordon County Georgia a better place to live, work and play.

 

Our mission is to promote a healthier, safer, more livable community through education, beautification, and environmentally sustainable projects and practices.

  • Litter Prevention, including Adopt-A-Mile

  • Beautification, and

  • Waste Reduction

Through education, community events, and partnerships with local schools, church groups, businesses, and local governments, we work year-round make Calhoun and all of Gordon County cleaner and greener.
